I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist. My doctorate is in psychotherapeutic and counseling psychology from the University of Surrey (2017). I have worked in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings in Greece and the UK. As a counseling psychologist, my practice is evidence-based. I use my clinical expertise to help clients achieve their goals, looking at the best available research evidence and tailoring the therapy to client preferences and characteristics.
In my private practice I work with adolescents and adults for a range of mental health problems, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, communication and relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues (e.g. related to body image and overeating). I also work with complex, persistent and enduring issues that may be associated with the diagnosis of a personality disorder, for example, persistent depression, alcohol and/or substance misuse, and parasuicidal behaviour (i.e. deliberate self-harm that does not result in death).
I offer therapy in Greek and in English.
